Jaye Lin (JYL) is a China-born, New York-raised, Paris-based multidisciplinary contemporary artist, designer, and creative technologist working across painting, illustration, ink, photography, sound, and creative technology. Her practice examines how collective identity, cultural memory, and perception shift within increasingly computational, networked, and spiritual environments – approached through a hybrid lens built from formal training in analytical systems and intuitive emotional expression.
She holds a Bachelor's in Physics and Economics from Syracuse University and a Master's in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology from the University of Southern California. Her recent work incorporates penwork, painting, interactive media, and quantum-informed computation to explore different forms of digital and physical work.
Beyond the studio, JYL designs and builds digital products at WME, one of the world's leading entertainment, fashion, and talent agencies. She runs Supply Projects, a creative and strategic studio working at the intersection of brand strategy and cultural production, and founded BRUIT, a music and culture platform for emerging artists spanning New York, London, and Paris.
Her recent exhibitions include Russell Janis Gallery and the Freelancers Union in New York. She is currently developing Jia Is Home, her debut solo exhibition, exploring home as a contested coordinate shaped by migration, capital, physics, language, and time.
